Artist: Neck Deep

Album: The Peace and The Panic

Genre: Pop Punk

Comments:

I definitely hated on this album when it first came out.

In my defense, it's not at all like their older albums. With some extra emphasis on the POP in "Pop Punk", Neck Deep's The Peace and The Panic album softens their rougher edges for a more catchy, kitschy, predictable, and poppy sound.

But I realized, that doesn't have to be a bad thing. If it gets stuck in your head, makes you feel some type of way, and has you dancing in your car a bit, then it's done it's job.

Also, the strong opener, "Motion Sickness", makes it hard to put down and ignore what follows.

About

pineappleposer is: Kaleigh (KAY-lee).

- This blog is a forum for lovers of film, music, and other forms of media that may not be recognized in pop culture as we'd like them to be. The goal is to hold open discussions about media and to shine light on multiple perspectives, not just popular opinion.

- Why pineapples? It's more about the symbolism than about the literal fruit. Why poser? The irony. Why a blog? Because I'm tired of blathering on about things I'm passionate about in limited characters, and I'm hoping to meet people with similar interests and hold enlightening discussions.
