Comments:

I've been bumping this album all day, every day, since it was released on April 27th.

For an album titled "beerbongs and bentleys", I expected a party album, but it's actually incredibly low key and sad. I instead got a break-up album with some references to alcohol and drug abuse to cope with the inevitable life and relationship changes that come with fame. It wasn't what I was originally anticipating, but it's a jam nonetheless.

With great features like 21 Savage, Ty Dolla $ign, and Nicki Minaj, this slow-burn, soft hip hop break-up album, beerbongs and bentleys is perfect for warm days, long summer drives with the windows rolled down, chill parties, and cold beers.

Unfortunately, none of the new songs can be found on Youtube, but if you have Spotify or Apple Music, you can stream and download the album for yourself. The songs I recommend are Rich & Sad, Over Now, Better Now, Ball for Me, and 92 Explorer.

Happy listening!

About

pineappleposer is: Kaleigh (KAY-lee).

- This blog is a forum for lovers of film, music, and other forms of media that may not be recognized in pop culture as we'd like them to be. The goal is to hold open discussions about media and to shine light on multiple perspectives, not just popular opinion.

- Why pineapples? It's more about the symbolism than about the literal fruit. Why poser? The irony. Why a blog? Because I'm tired of blathering on about things I'm passionate about in limited characters, and I'm hoping to meet people with similar interests and hold enlightening discussions.
