Artist: Joywave

Album: Content

Genre: Indie rock, Alternative rock, Indietronica, Indie Pop

Comments: Unlike anything else I listen to, this artist caught me off guard with it's retro feel and heavy bass-lines. Super catchy, and the lyrics are decent too!

The song below is from a different album than the one I recommended, but I think it's a decent segue into what sound to expect from this group. The album recommended, Content, is the one I've been personally playing front to back. I encourage delving into them in anyway you see fit if you enjoy this initial taste of 'Tongues' by Joywave.

About

pineappleposer is: Kaleigh (KAY-lee).

- This blog is a forum for lovers of film, music, and other forms of media that may not be recognized in pop culture as we'd like them to be. The goal is to hold open discussions about media and to shine light on multiple perspectives, not just popular opinion.

- Why pineapples? It's more about the symbolism than about the literal fruit. Why poser? The irony. Why a blog? Because I'm tired of blathering on about things I'm passionate about in limited characters, and I'm hoping to meet people with similar interests and hold enlightening discussions.
