Welcome to my blog, and thank you for reading! This is just an obligatory post to give you the low-down.

If you haven't seen the 'About' section OR my 'About' page, then I encourage you to do so. But, in short, this blog is a forum for people that love films, music, books...etc. as much as I do, who dissect every little thing about them and then have to discuss and debate about the concepts and theories of it all or otherwise explode. I like podcasts and reading reviews as much as the next guy, but there always seems to be the same filtered and over-used opinion or perspective floating around in popular media, rather than multiple intellectual theories and points of view. Also, I can't debate with podcasts or magazine articles. This blog is an outlet for me to share my perspective and opinion on multiple kinds of films/books/music that may not be as talked about in pop culture, but also to get your thoughts and opinions as well. So, please share your thoughts with me!

Please, do not read my reviews if you haven't seen the film I'm discussing. SPOILERS ARE INEVITABLE when I'm describing gripping scenes and important aspects of films. So, you've been warned. That's not on me, if I ruin something for you.

Mondays are Monday's Mayhem where I'll post music I'm listening to that week with some fun comments on why I chose that artist.

Wednesdays are Wild Card Wednesday where I'll talk about whatever I want in terms of genre or media format.

Shudder Sundays are when I get to tell you all about a scary film that I probably watched on the Shudder streaming service. In case you're wondering why I need a day devoted to just that: horror is my favorite, so I've got a lot of material to go off of!

Please let me know your thoughts and feelings on my posts, on my site, if everything is working okay, if there's anything I could elaborate on more clearly...etc. I'm so excited to get to converse with other people that have similar interests, and I want everyone to have a good time sharing!
